I'm finding this surprisingly useful. The automatic reconnect to Bluetooth MIDI is the killer feature, IMO, eliminating a lot of the fiddling around that I have to deal with on other controllers. I use my iPad as a guitar effects box, looper, and so on -- lots of stuff is MIDI controlled, and the watch acts as a wireless remote controller that's right at my fingertips.

Can you quit the app, relaunch, and have the controllers remain in their location? Can you restart the AVP and have the controllers maintain their location?

i have a x fold piano stand with some wood shelf sections cut for they keyboard and mouse. It is a nasty solution. I have a music room with mac mini mounted behind the screen and the screen mounted to the way. The TV is directly above the digital piano. I've been thinking about this exact idea off and on for over 2 years now. I am now inspired to see what I can come up with. I am imagining interfacing with the HID(human interface device) of the main OS with a hot key on the midi input. It can be a stand alone usb/midi button and then some kind of typing system. I am thinking about the rows of a qwerty keyboard being one modifier and shift/control/alt being another modifier. so maybe the very low "A" of my digital piano which is rarely used can activate "typing mode", which the program looks for and then any series of row/modifier combination can type the letter. Problem I see is a polling protocol to avoid letters being typed before the whole sequence is completed. and then a time period before next letter is valid. Maybe once it outputs a letter the same low 'A' and modifier would still have to be held down for a couple miliseconds before a new combo becomes valid. This way we are not tied to a specific piece of midi hardware. Any hardware will work as long as you can find a unique midi 'command' that is not often used to activate the typing. You can even have the software dump(or pipe) midi commands after the modifier "activate" key is held down to not continue down the chain. That way all the typing stuff doesn't end up activating sounds or functions on your production software. I have some experience in C# and python and I don't want to work forever on this so i'll see what I come up with.

Look very nice. I try it in Fl Studio 21 but i don't see any events in the monitor. I have a synth on mixer Track 1, and loaded the PlugIn as an Insert in the FX section of the mixer. If i let the synth play or if i try to play my keyboard - the plugin shows nothing. Question: Does someone know how to setup this PlugIn in FL Studio? Do i need a special routing? I tried to setup the synth in the settings to MIDI OUT Port 1 and the PlugIn to MIDI IN Port 1 - nothing to see. Any hints? Windows 11 BTW.

Cool instrument. I am intrigued. Having to stare at it for lack of physical cues and markers would be a major drawback, but the material/membrane looks pretty tactile. That said, it looks like a design which can stand the test of time.

Can you add a sequencer and the capacity to control a few different synths with multiple WIDI masters? You want a sequencer like René V2 by make noise to make easy to use with type of interface but also enhance creativity over a keyboard layout.

one of the biggest advantages of a controller is that you can change more than one value at a time. I see this only becoming useful if you can reach over an use the sliders directly.
